I've been using the Noom app for 5 weeks. I like the articles and daily tips for staying on track with my weight loss. Plus the cost is good for what you get. This program is not a quick weight loss program, but definitely retrains your mind and body to eat healthy while enjoying food. If you stick with the daily actives you will see the weight come off.
I haven't been too impressed with the coaching part of the program. You are assigned a coach, but you will connect with that person weekly by text, which hasn't been too helpful for me. If you are struggling daily and having a hard time staying on track, it will be several days before you hear back from your coach. There is no daily support, which is what I was expecting. You are also assigned to a support group for daily support, but it is more of a chat room where you can go and post your successes and failures, but again not too much support.
If you are looking for a program with a daily check-in, weigh-ins, menus, etc., then you should give Noom a try, it is worth it. If you need strong support and coaching, then you may want to consider another program.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
