    Noom Diet

    Could be better...

    Overall Experience:

    I really appreciate the daily readings and explanations of so many issues associated with weight loss (and non-weight-loss!) However, Noom's "library" of food and calorie counts is much too basic and very difficult to manipulate to enter recipe contents. I've just given up trying to enter my recipes when the recipe does not provide calories. I'd also like more forms of exercise included in the list of exercises. For example, I do aquatic exercise. It's not swimming, which is included, and because resistance is different, it's not the same as conventional aerobics or Zumba.

    And then there's my current coach. She has learned to verbally follow (that's a counseling technique which is useful in person but not in written counseling due to its lack of timeliness). But that's not what I need. I need actual advice - what kinds of exercise are available to me when I cannot do exercise that involves impact, like walking on pavement. I don't think she really understands what non-impact exercise is and why it's important, even essential, to some folks. Noom should be giving coaches more resources.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
