I have limited time and was asked to commit 10 minutes - however, between the task, logging foods, getting steps in and adding exercise, sleep, meditation to the routine its more like hours and not minutes. These are things we know we need to do so the Noom app is good for accountability. Pretty much like Weight Watchers.
I have found that the food database is off. Several of the food items I go to log are in the database more than one time and depending on which one you select is what the food category goes under (yellow/green/red). I know that other Noomers in my group have commented on the same thing so it's not a one-off instance.
The additional cost associated with the nutrition and exercise program is a farce and not worth the money spent - however, it is done now and lesson learned.
I have mentioned this to family and friends but with the caveat that it is like a Weight Watchers so compare pricing to the WW online and this before they sign up, if they are even interested.
I found that updating the app to my Fitbit is a bit tedious as I have to log out and log back into getting it to sync.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
