I have been working on achieving a healthy weight for most of my life. Noom is exactly what I needed, but I didn't know that such a program existed. I was looking for a behavioral and nutrition coach all in one as well as an easy way to journal my food intake. I already belong to a gym but did not have any support or guidance with nutrition not to mention any accountability for goals. Noom is fantastic! They have a goal specialist I can connect with weekly to review my goals and offer support and accountability (she checks in with me weekly), a group coach who checks in with our group daily and motivates us, provides challenges and encouragement, a meal logger which has many pre-entered foods already in the system and a built-in support group I can access at anytime.
In addition, there are informational articles broken into small fun snippets that address many of the questions and challenges I have encountered such as harboring distorted thoughts about food (good vs. bad foods, etc.), managing plateaus, goal setting templates, etc. There is nothing not to like about this program, which is also an app which makes it so convenient. I forgot to mention the built-in pedometer that measures my steps everywhere - I was blown away when I came back from the gym and had over 6000 steps logged on my phone!
This is such a comprehensive program - they have thought of everything, and it is truly everything I could imagine in a weight loss program. I don't even have to leave my house, everything is in the app. And there are many other features that I didn't even mention. This is like no other program I've ever known. I highly recommend Noom to anyone who wants a convenient, effective, supportive and fun way to lose weight and keep it off.
