Only sellers who are desperate will use this company. Just for fun, I had Opendoor give me an "offer" on my home. They said it would be "under $600,000." After I stopped laughing, I listed my home with a conventional real estate company. One month later I sold my home for $750,000. Obviously Opendoor is going to give very low offers hoping to attract the desperate seller. They say their offers are "competitive." Absolutely BS. DO NOT sell to these people if you want to maximize your profits.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
