At first, I thought this was just another diet plan. But this one felt a bit different from day one. The "real people" feel felt real. A real coach and team lead? Wow! This might just work. And it is working. The daily short readings, logging of weight and activities and a blog where others like me share our ideas and progress (or lack of), really helps to keep this "real." This is virtual social networking with real benefits. I have already lost 7 lbs by following the advice. I didn't think this would be possible in just over a two month's period.
I am watching my thoughts (Mindful eating is it? Still can't memorize all the Moom hashtags!) and what I eat. I think it's the change in the thought process that's really different about this program. The daily affirmation is empowering, because this is something "I" am doing, for "myself." And I am seeing real results. The "psych" part of Noom is really what is setting it apart for me.
I still eat junk sometimes, but now I am aware of my bank of calories I can put away for future use. Add in an extra 10 minutes to my workout routines to gobble down that juicy burger. I don't feel guilty at all. This program is really empowering me to be responsible about what I put in my body. My mom will be so proud! (I haven't told her all the details yet.)
All in all, I am really happy I made this decision, and on 1/2/2019! I mean how cliche is that!?
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
