Overall I have found Noom to be a very helpful, effective program. The app makes meal logging easier than the ones I tried before. The daily lessons are excellent! I needed help with the psychological issues associated with weight problems, and Noom shines in that respect.
Noom does not synchronize up with my Samsung fitness watch, so I can’t log my daily steps. You can log how long a walk you take, but not your total steps per day. Since Noom sets daily step goals, that’s a problem. Noom does not seem to understand time zones. Every morning at 8 am it nags me to log my lunch. Annoying.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
