I used the FixMeStick for the first time on my 5-year-old HP Pavillion laptop which runs Windows 10. I currently use Kaspersky for my virus protection and have occasionally used CC Cleaner free version to run checks. The FixMeStick was easy to use and seemed to do a fairly thorough job of checking my computer. It took about 3 hours or so do its scan. After completing the check, it found only 4 files with issues. That tells me that Kaspersky must be doing a fairly good job of stopping things from coming in. I will continue using the FixMeStick for monthly monitoring of my laptop and remove the CC Cleaner as I don't think I need to have both.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
