So I’m at work and have been putting off going to the doctor. I have no refills left and haven’t had an outbreak in a while. I searched online for how to buy meds since they are cheap but some looked sketchy at best. I remembered about the Lemonaid app from TechCrunch when I recommended it to my girlfriend for her birth control and wondered if it also had meds for me. I started the process online and then quickly downloaded the app and signed in. I filled out a short survey, and then paid the $25 visit/consultation fee with Apply Pay. Within an hour I was asked a follow-up question about my diagnosis and then approved. I was then sent a treatment plan with some information. I opted to have my prescription sent to my pharmacy rather than my apartment, however, they will send it directly to your door if you want. When I called CVS the automated bot said my recent prescription was received and was being processed. This process is FAST, think Amazon/Instacart/Uber. The speed and ease of doing business is the way it always should have been. The app is professional and feels polished. My interaction with Emily was a breeze.
