I purchased for my now older picky eater 17lbs female, 13-year-old Jack Russell. She was having arthritis pain in her hips (I'm very wary of pain medicines which basically drugged her into a stupor). Adding freeze-dried good veggies to her nightly wet food has made a good difference and I wanted to make sure she is getting all the nutrients on her plate. Adding the Nutra Thrive powder which makes a flavorful gravy that she loves she is more energetic and seems to have less pain when moving, this makes me feel better also. My small dog developed runny eyes over the past year and we couldn't figure out why, adding 1/4 scoop (he's 7 and 1/2lbs) to his wet supper has started to clear a lot of his drippy eye problem. I'm sure it's due to getting them the nutrients and vitamins they were lacking from other foods, including their veggies. I'm quite happy with their better daily routines now and care. I've tried "many" other vitamin supplements for them in the past and Nutra Thrive seems to be more of a better addition so far. And they both love the taste. I love my dogs and I try to keep them as healthy and happy as I do my family, it is pricey (and so is others without good results) but I highly recommend this product.
