Was experiencing spontaneous shutdowns while running Kaspersky and Malwarebytes full scans.
Wondered if this was caused by infection with Trojan or Worm - which would've surprised me since I'm knowledgeable and very careful about security issues.
So ran FixMeStick, which came up clean. FixMeStick ran in Cool Mode, so was able to complete scan. Confirmed that my security procedures are working, which was valuable.
Now I know the problem is due to overheating, not virus, which is a big help. So now I'll be doing a major internal cleanup, with possible fan replacement.
