Ok, here is my very early days' review of my recently purchased FixMeStick. I decided to do my first scan overnight as recommended, I run a Windows 10 Desktop PC. It's about 3 years old now, I do not visit any obviously dodgy websites, and use my computer daily but wisely. However, when I first installed the FixMeStick into a rear USB port as per instructions...it wouldn't run, I went through the three attempts and still it wouldn't run. I was worried I might have to go into the unknown territory of manual loading...but I thought I shall remove it and try again...hey, presto! When I tried again it loaded first time...maybe a glitch? But I was relieved. Then after doing all the screen told me to do, I duly left it overnight scanning. In the morning it had found five possibly threatening, bugs on my machine, quite good actually for a 3-year-old machine in this day and age! Anyhow, I clicked on clean the threats, and then they were gone, with no seeming adverse effects to my daily use. So early doors...it worked AFTER the initial three fails. I removed it and reinstalled it, it worked, fair enough I suppose, so not perfect. But satisfactory would be my first early days' report...I cannot tell whether the initial three fails were down to my Windows 10 machine or the FixMeStick not liking my machine? But it did work eventually and did the job. So I'm going to give it a 4 out of 5 rating, only due to the first failed attempts...if it works from this point on perfectly my rating will increase accordingly.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
