As a former practicing Chiropractic Physician during my time in practice I was constantly bombarded by representatives and with advertisements for the latest and greatest in supplements and food replacements all of which I viewed with a very jaundiced eye. That said, when reviewing the information and claims made by Nature's Blend, I found them to be dubious at best despite making good nutritional sense.
We have 3 dogs, 9-year-old and 8-month old German Shepherds and a 6-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I've been concerned about Ruger who has hip dysplasia and lumbar arthritis shown via radiographs and obvious by his difficulty with ambulation. The first thing I noticed after starting Ruger on Nature's Blend was a change in his coat. It is now shiny and soft and I am no longer finding dandruff when grooming him. The past year I've had to help Ruger into the car by lifting his hindquarters. Ruger is a 100-pound GSD. Two days ago before I had a chance to help him he was already in the car ready to go. I've also noticed that he has no problem keeping up with our 8-month-old Kody and during play, it is often Kody who wants a break before Ruger. I'm also seeing a nice change in Kody's and Fred's coats and a positive change in Fred's disposition and I have not caught Fred eating fecal material lately. None of the boys have had any GI issues transitioning to Nature's Blend and they all seem to enjoy it especially Ruger who has always been a picky eater.
