I have a 7-year-old, 20 lbs miniature poodle named Mia. When I watched Dr. Marty's video, I was impressed with what he had to say about dog nutrition and I wanted to try the food. The food arrived and I started the transition from what she was eating to Dr. Marty's. Since I had just ordered a 30 lbs bag of the old dog food when I ordered Dr. Marty's, Mia will remain on a 50/50 mix of both foods until the old stuff is eaten. Even on the 50/50 mix, the transformation in her is amazing. After a few weeks, I started noticing a gradual positive attitude change in Mia. She is happier, more energetic, and a lot more playful! The positive difference in her attitude is amazing. Best of all, she LOVES this food. With her old food, when I put the bowl on the floor, she would sniff it, take a nibble and walk away. Eventually, she would eat it as there were no other options. Now, when her meal is being prepared, she is jumping up and down with excitement and can hardly contain herself until we finally put the bowl on the floor. No longer is there any hesitation...she scarfs it down as fast as she can. I do not give her the recommended amount as I believe it is too much. Mia gets 1/3 cup of food in the morning and 1/3 cup in the evening and she is putting on a little weight so I may need to cut back some. I am so impressed with this food that I told one of my good friends that has a Min-Pin, and she now has Rudy eating Dr. Marty's. Like Mia, Rudy loves this stuff and is doing great. I highly recommend this dog food!
