    Overall Experience:

10/21/19 Found the car back for sale on their website and no email letting me know. With it being back up this soon, that means there was no "fix" to the car and I was lied to. Very dishonest and poor business practices.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Canceled sale without notifying me, bad communication

I'll start off with saying that the buying process was simple, straightforward, and quick. Underwriter called me to confirm all the information promptly and was easy to deal with. Ordered the car on a Friday, scheduled the pickup for the following Tuesday around 7 pm. Everything seemed like it was in place and good to go but come Tuesday at 2 pm, I receive a text telling me the car won't pass inspection/smog and that I can choose another car if I'd like. I told them no and that I wanted this specific car, as they didn't have another one of this type. The tech was not prompt in responding to let me know what was going on. It wasn't until around 6 pm I got confirmation I could not pick up the vehicle. They said they would keep trying and let me know. Got a text on Thursday 2 days later saying it still wouldn't pass, and that I should pick another car. That was the last time I heard anything. I go to check my order and there's nothing there, like it never happened. I had to call customer service to find out what was going on and they told me the inspection center cancelled the order. Again, nobody corresponded that it was going to be canceled and what the next steps were, just that I should pick another car, not that I would have to. Very dissatisfying. The service dept wasn't able to provide much information other than the car can't be sold anymore to anyone, at least not until its "fixed". They also said if it does go back on sale I won't have any priority to the car, just that I would be notified like anyone else when the car is available, very frustrating. Since they don't inspect the cars until the last minute you're really out of luck if it doesn't pass, especially you've already gotten rid of your prior car. This information isn't divulged either, not in the contract, not on their site, nor told from the underwriter that this needed to happen still. I understand the test is state law, however, you think they would had this covered prior to listing it for sale, or at minimum telling you it needs to happen still.

In the end it was the lack of communication that left me with a bad taste. So for now I would not recommend them to anyone else. If they keep to their word about notifying me when the car goes back on sale I'll be more than happy to give it another shot and write a 5-star review if the process finally goes the way led me to believe it would.
