Our dog, Shade, was a rescue from the shelter. She is a dachshund/chihuahua mix and 14 years old. We have had her since she was about 1 year old. We try not to leave her alone because of her abandonment issues. When we were moving to Oregon, she was a great companion. The car ride was one of her favorite things to do. While at a motel, she had a problem with her right hip. The vet said it was probably a pinched nerve. But she has had a number of problems with that leg since. If she lays on that side when she sleeps, it seems to go numb. We have now been giving her Nutra Thrive for some time and it seems to be helping a lot. She is starting to get that puppy attitude. She is moving more than before. So we plan to keep giving it to her.
