$2200 later. I started the alignment process only to discover after three weeks that a set of aligners was missing from the box SmileDirect delivered. Seven weeks later and many broken promises later (phone calls, emails, and a chat), I still haven’t received the missing aligners. SmileDirect is unable to deliver - I fear I will need to start proceedings and I think the company may be in financial difficulties from what I have been able to discover on the internet.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
