I love my quip.
The ability to stick it to the mirror prevents it from taking up room in a drawer, shelf, or countertop. And it being out in the open helps to remind each of us to brush. I also love that the holder helps to shield the brush without letting it mildew (you'd be surprised how much a simple cover can protect your brush from things like fecal matter and dust).
The size is very nice. Neither me (large hands) nor my wife (small hands) have any complaints. It's like they got a good size for getting a grip, but kept it small enough and light enough to not feel unwieldy. A complaint I've had about the last three brushes we've had.
The built-on tongue scraper is a plus as well. I'd not used one before, but now I won't go without it.
I have to give special commendation to the bristles that hit my gums. They aren't so soft that they are unfelt, but they also feel like they clean well without cutting into me and causing bleeding.
My daughter (6 years old) loves hers as well. She gets one she thinks is cute while feeling grown-up for getting a stylish (minimalistic design) electric brush.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
