I am so glad that I have chosen BetterHelp. Sometimes I feel like I live two different lives. One at work, and one at home/around friends and family. Some days I feel like I am a successful saleswoman kicking everyone's butt, but other days I feel like throwing my phone in the train tracks, then making 10 different plans with friends, family, and my boyfriend all for that same day. I love my family and my job, but with love comes with pain. The pain of loss, failure, and broken trust.

I knew that I needed to speak to someone who wasn't my boss, or my best friend. I knew I needed someone with more knowledge on self-compassion, and less knowledge about my past wrongdoings. Someone who could see me as a person who needs help, and not just a young adult who wants attention. I feel so safe when I speak to my counselor. When life gets tough, I know that she is literally a text away. I am amazed when she replies, even if it's late at night. Even if she is able to choose her hours, I think that her just messaging me so late at a time where maybe most therapists are sleeping speaks VOLUMES to what BetterHelp, and their amazing staff can provide.

I trust my counselor so much, that after leaving BetterHelp when I didn't have the money, I am deciding to come back again. BetterHelp is way more affordable than most therapy in the US - but they do not compromise quality at all. Please invest into yourself and your well-being - you cannot pour out of an empty cup.
