I have been using BetterHelp for just shy of a year now, and I am very happy with the services. The matching process almost felt like a dating service, but it was SO much better than that!
I have only seen one counselor throughout my time with the app because I feel like it was a good match from the start. Options for sessions include text, phone, or video. I have only utilized video services because it feels more personal to me.
On occasion, there have been some technical issues due to WiFi connection, but otherwise, everything has been great! They offer a sliding fee scale based upon income which has made counseling more affordable for me. Customer service has been excellent as well when I have had to contact them about changes in my subscription.
I would recommend and have recommended this app to anyone in need of mental health assistance but without the possibility for in-person counseling services. Highly recommend. Thanks BetterHelp!
