Ultimately, it was the access to rare, top-shelf bottles with detailed reviews and flavor profile descriptions coupled with membership being a financial wash that made it a good deal. Signing up with a friend referral and up-front quarterly bottle and taster kit (excellent idea) paid for the membership immediately. Sharing with my friends that really enjoy trying new bottles.
