I was skeptical at first, obviously just to ask for help but also about the process of it all, the cost, etc., but BetterHelp makes it super easy. I actually started filling out their questionnaire and then when it got to the payment stage I actually backed out of it. But then the next day I got an email saying that they had matched me with someone! I was very surprised as I didn’t think they would do that without payment, so I went ahead with it and it’s nice to see that BH offers student discount too.
The first person I was matched to was not compatible with me (they openly admitted at the very start that their specialty does not lie in what I needed) and it was so easy to simply request a new counselor! This second person was assigned to me the same day and what a perfect match it was!
It’s so so nice to have call options with counselors and 24/7 messaging service. The app is super easy to use and very suited for my needs.
I’m SO GLAD I did it, thank you BH for helping me get my life back.
