Soon after this review was posted, I was contacted by the company and offered an $18 refund for the month of July.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Problematic consumer relations

The classes were good. But when I decided to cancel my subscription this spring, I was offered a free month and accepted. I used the service very little the last month (the month of May), and forgot to cancel on the date my free month was due to expire (I was not notified again of this date, though technically they did not have to notify me). When I discovered I'd been charged for the month of June (my credit card bill arrived late in the mail), I immediately contacted them to cancel and was told I had to pay for the month of June even though I had not used the account at all. Fair enough. But what they did not tell me at the time was that I'd already been charged for the month of July as well. I did not discover this until I got my credit card bill in late July. They refused to refund me the money for July, even though I was told in early July that my account had been canceled. If they had told me at the time that they were charging me for the month of July, I would have had the opportunity to at least use the account for the remainder of the month. They continue to refuse to give me a refund for the month of July. I feel this is unfair and bordering on fraud.
