After emailing Effy that night, I received a phone call from an Effy employee the following morning who somehow was able to order the refund. She told me to return to L&T, and that I would be refunded. Luckily, this is exactly what took place (as I thought I was going to file a civil suit). While I do not know who was responsible for the fraudulence, I am so grateful that Effy trusted my word and refunded my money.
The whole experience made me sick to my stomach.

Link to this ReviewI purchased Effy diamond stud earrings from Lord & Taylor on 10/24/20. Today, I went to my local jeweler to purchase screwbacks for the earrings. My jeweler informed me that the stones were fake diamonds. I went to Lord & Taylor with all of my documentation - Effy reps were actually there because of the liquidation. Effy blamed it on Lord & Taylor and nobody took accountability. I lost $2200.
