I’ve had mixed experiences with BetterHelp. I was first assigned to a counselor who was sleeping during our session. I found her behavior disrespectful. BetterHelp was very supportive and helped me find a new counselor. They’ve also provided me with an additional session. I’ve made the conscious decision to read the profiles of counselors instead of having one randomly selected for me. I came across the profile of my now counselor and I was able to determine she would be a great match for me. I felt connected to her words and the reviews she got from other clients was the icing on top. I selected her and immediately contacted her. She was so compassionate in her response to me. She had a genuine interest in me as a person. I’m learning so much about myself and patterns. I’m becoming the best version of myself because of the work we are able to do together.
I really appreciate BetterHelp checking in with me after each session on how things went. It shows that they want you to have the best services.
