I bought the mini solar generator because I wanted to have coffee if my power went out. My mistake, when I received it I read that it only has 300 watts of power. That would only charge up electronics and a lamp at best. Really, for over $500? So I decided to return it and yes, they take returns but at your expense. So $65.00 later I shipped it back and waiting on my refund. I also thought this was an American company, but guess what? It is made in China! I will not be buying anything else from this site.

I am so sorry that you were not satisfied with your Patriot Power Sidekick. It is stated on the product page that the Sidekick is a 300-watt unit. It also lists what items the Sidekick can power about halfway down the page as well as at the bottom of the page in the FAQ section.
The Patriot Power Sidekick was designed and developed at our corporate office in Tennessee, and built by a phenomenal manufacturer in China. We ship all orders from our warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah and our customer support team is based in the U.S. as well. While we make every effort to source products domestically, some product categories, particularly those electronic in nature, are difficult or impossible to find adequate manufacturing in the US. This is not just a cost issue, but a supply chain, engineering and manufacturing capacity issue. Very few products like computers, cell phones, televisions, etc. are made in the US, and we're not a large enough company to build or re-engineer the appropriate production to do the advanced technology work we source and our customers demand. We insist that our 4Patriots food products and sister-company (Patriot Health Alliance) supplement products are produced in the US. But we're able to do that because the appropriate partners exist today.
