No seed was included with both kits I bought. Went out and bought seed. Despite following instructions, and with the lid properly screwed in, I turned on the water and the screw-on top exploded off the bottle...both times. Ruined $30.00 in grass seed, most of which exploded onto me.
Pros and Cons:
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
