No benefits noted. When the blue light started to pulsate after a little over a year we decided to trash this device because of a warning label about “flashover or a risk of fire.” We don’t know whether the pulsating light was directly related to this warning but we decided we don’t want this overpriced but probably worthless device anymore.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
