I've been a customer for years and always enjoyed my boxes. Some were awesome and some were, well, just ok. But overall it was worth keeping my subscription.
I then began doing add-ons and ordered a LOT! I ordered an expensive item for Christmas that was to be shipped in a month. They charged my account immediately.
When a month went by with no item I contacted their customer service who was NOT helpful and they actually disconnected. I waited a few days and called back. This time I was told they would look into why my package wasn't shipped and get back to me. Waited and no follow-up.
I contacted them a third time and once again was told that they would get back to me but they can't refund "drop shipments" because they don't ship the packages and they would need to work with the seller. The seller was FabFitFun! I have no idea who they contracted with but I purchased an item from FabFitFun and my credit card was charged by FabFitFun.
They never got back to me so I had no choice but to dispute my credit card charge! Time runs out on disputing nonreceipt of items! Once I disputed that the item never shipped they went in and canceled my membership. I'm actually glad about that because I no longer wish to support a company that has such horrendous customer service and takes zero responsibility for packages never being shipped!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
