    Alo Moves

    A rip-off for gift recipients

    • Length of Use: 6–12 months
    Overall Experience:

If you receive a gift card from Alo Moves, the company makes you give your credit card number. This way they can instantly charge you as soon as your gift is up. The problem is they don't notify you before charging you or allow you any grace in getting out of it if you didn't want the service anyway. I used a month out of 12 months of a gift membership and then got charged. I don't recommend anyone give someone a gift card.

    Pros and Cons:

    • A variety of movement classes
    • They rip you off if you have a gift card
    • They don't communicate when they are going to charge you 11 months after you gave them a credit card
    • I didn't like most of their instructors, it reminded me of the "no pain, no gain" 80s

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
