My stepsister sent me a link to try BetterHelp since I recently lost my brother, and she’s been using it for her own therapy and highly recommends it. I’ve had 3 sessions with my therapist through the app now and have only good things to say. You can message your therapist, talk on the phone, or have video calls with them — whatever you prefer. Scheduling your next session in the app is really easy and they send you text and email reminders leading up to your session. Also, the really helpful thing is you can message your therapist in between sessions too and mine is very responsive. Another cool app feature is their daily journal prompts, which you can choose to keep private or share with your therapist. I find the app really easy to use and all the different options for talking to my therapist to be really helpful. I highly recommend BetterHelp.
