This app is phenomenal. I'm from a rural part of Arkansas, so having access to the best therapists that are licensed in my state is difficult. I have intense amounts of trauma and need to work with a trauma specialist. BetterHelp's teletherapy allows me to patiently find the therapist that is best suited to my needs, not simply the one that is within a 20-mile radius.
At first, they gave me options for more religious and pro-military therapists as I marked that I was a Christian with PTSD. However, that doesn't work for my healing as I was abused by a religious zealot and a military man. So, I was able to email them to let them know those were triggers and their customer service TOOK THE TIME TO PAINSTAKINGLY REVIEW PROFILES to find therapists that would truly help. They gave me 3 more options rather than just throwing me 1 and saying "Here's an alternative."
Will always be using them!
