I started therapy to recover from an eating disorder. I saw no improvements whatsoever in that aspect after a few sessions and was considering dropping therapy altogether. I spoke with Alice about it, and after a slight argument, we came to an agreement; I decided I should keep doing therapy with her as the sessions were helping me heal from past traumas I didn't even know I had, despite them not directly addressing my current problem. After a few more sessions, I was able to overcome the traumas and "grow into a man" (her words). This not only made a switch click inside of me, but I now am confident enough to say that healing that trauma helped me with my problem.
Talking with Alice and sticking to the sessions helped me grow and opened my eyes on certain aspects of my life that I was not aware were causing the problem.
I will never thank Alice enough for what she did with me, and hope that everyone will be able to recover as I did thanks to her support and guidance.
