    Clear TV

    AMAZED

    Overall Experience:

Below you will see my issue and an attempt to resolve it. I received 16 stations - most of them come and go - 2 are stable. I purchased the amplifier, with it I receive 2 stations - never any more. This is the actual web chat.

[16:00] Diane: I recently purchased the clear channel antenna and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the amplifier as some of the channels went in and out. After connecting the amplifier I was shocked when it knocked out all the channels but the 2 strongest, and they even now pixilated at times.

[16:00] Thank you for visiting chat! We will be with you shortly.

[16:05] Michelle: If you live in a major metropolitan area you should not need to boost the signal strength. If you live in a rural area of the country where the signal is weak or intermittent, you may want to purchase a Clear TV amplifier to boost your reception.

[16:06] Michelle: Are we still connected?

[16:09] Diane: Although I live in a capital city, it is surrounded by rural areas- the stations are all in the rural areas. I already purchased the amplifiers as I said as my signals would often break up - I was trying to stabilize the signals. Unfortunately, the amplifier knocks out all the signals - can you tell me why it is instead of amplifying signals it is knocking them out?

    [16:11] Diane: hello?

    [16:12] Michelle: Yes I'm here.

[16:12] Michelle: You can get clearer channels by adjusting the positioning of your Clear TV antenna for optimal performance.

[16:13] Diane: Do you have any idea why the amplifier is knocking out the channels?

[16:13] Diane: I understand about positioning etc.

[16:14] Diane: What I don't understand is an amplifier should not knock out channels

[16:19] Michelle: The reception will vary based on a certain variables, such as distance from the transmitter, hills, buildings, and even tall trees can impact reception. The amplifier that serves to boost the signal in your area.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
