My experience with HairMax was short lived. The activator follicle booster turned my scalp beet red. I have very dry and sensitive skin. This product contained DHT and sulfonate, which I am highly allergic to via a licensed dermatologist findings. I do have genetic (female) pattern hair loss. I wanted this to work so bad. I even tried the HairMax without the booster, and it still turned my scalp red, however, not as bad and I don't think it was because the UV light was too strong. It seems to dry my scalp out and made it itch even more. Sad to say it is going back since I don't have $200.00 to waste.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
