The antenna does NOT get you free channels; it is a scam. I tried it now, and by reading the reviews, I am scared to send them back because people have done that and got no response.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Link to this ReviewI bought two of these, reading that you can cut your cable and get all these channels, I cannot even change it from to USB power! There are not enough instructions, and NO NUMBER to call, just a hoax.
