I decided on this company and its products because we often have fall and winter storms that can cause power outages, and that's when the Food 4 Patriots products really come in handy. The company has also come up with some innovative products, including a Solar Generator, which I will get when I've saved up.
Mostly I've ordered the mylar-packed freeze-dried foods. Some products are 25-year guaranteed and some 10-year. The packaging is well-marked, and food preparation instructions are clear and concise.
My most recent purchase was Potatoes O'Brien. Super (that means delicious), well-seasoned, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are other products including one-month, four-month, 72-hours food supplies, etc., and I've given the 72-hour "bug out" package to friends for birthday and Christmas presents. All of them had to open and taste. All thanked me repeatedly. So I'm pleased with the gifts given and delighted I found such great products for myself and to share with my friends and family.
