My wife and I purchased Two Copper Chef pans at Walmart. They did work as seen on TV and nothing stuck to them. I was able to clean them out with a cloth towel.
On the fourth time use, I made eggs for breakfast and they stuck to the pan. I could not get the pans clean, and I washed them in soap and hot water and they still have stains on them from the eggs. I cannot get them clean. I later cooked burgers in them and the same results as the eggs. I sear my burgers to keep the juice in, and that requires a hot pan. I had a very hard time just trying to flip the burgers. They sure did not work as I was led to believe on TV.
The pans seem to wear out quickly as far as nonstick ability. I do not recommend them if you eat eggs or burgers. That's all we have tried, and it's back to our cast iron. Don't waste your money on Copper Chef.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
