    My "trial" experience

    Overall Experience:

I ordered two “smart watches” advertised for iPhone and Android. The total cost, with shipping, was only $25. I used PayPal because I did not trust the site.

The packages arrived in the time that was specified when I ordered. However, in the instructions, it was clearly stated that iPhone was not supported. I did connect it to an old Android device that I had around the house, and it synced and seemed to function well.

The watch will chime when you received notifications but to read the notifications you have to cycle through their menu. To do so seemed like a hassle to me but perhaps with regular use, the user may get used to it. You do not have the option of replying to messages; it simply notifies you that you have them.

Beyond simply seeing if the watches would function, I did not wear or utilize the watch. I have submitted a return, but Wish does not pay for the return shipping, it must be paid by the consumer. I have not as of this posting received reimbursement. Once the return is received, this experience will have cost me approximately $18 (I do not believe they will reimburse the initial shipping cost either). If it wasn’t for the fact of wanting to experience the return process through Wish, I would have given the watches away. After all, $25 - $18 = $7 for two watches.

I have attempted to go on the Wish site and post a review of the product so that others would know that they, in fact, do not work with iPhone, but it is not as easy as other sites, and I have not bothered with the time to figure it out. I did research the cost of the same watches on other sites that I order items through (and trust, and have had excellent experience with), and the difference for both watches would have been an additional $2.

In summary, I feel I gave Wish a fair trial but will remain loyal to other sites that have treated me well.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
