I got this smart band a few days ago. Shipping was REALLY fast. The product was in the right color. The problem is, it only works properly when it’s really close to the phone it’s synced to. I find it doesn’t count the steps properly. The heart rate monitor (I got the heart rate version) works surprisingly well, and was very accurate. But the major problem is, I could feel the energy flowing through the charging slot, which was rather disturbing and disappointing.
Overall, the product works pretty well, but I sure have my concerns. If you’re buying a smart band like this one, you might want to consider reading the other reviews carefully and pay attention to all the points I mentioned (it's an inexpensive band, so you’re getting what you paid for).
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
