I researched the FootMedix product to see if it might assist me to get into a more structured walking routine. Years of wearing high heeled shoes in one career and then working on a concrete floor 15 hours a day in another had taken a toll on my feet and legs.
In retirement, I wanted to walk more regularly and enjoy more freedom than my feet often allowed. Painful dry skin and calluses on the balls of my feet made walking distances a chore. My feet would become extremely warm, and then the pain would start in my feet and move into my lower legs.
When I first applied the FootMedix cream, I immediately noticed the softer feel of the skin on the soles of my feet. After 2 or 3 days, the callused areas no longer gave me the pain as I walked greater and greater distances. It was fun to walk my dog and walk places where I would have driven before.
