I purchased this product with hopes for weight loss. I don't think it helps for that at all. But...I have serious digestive issues that include bloating, pain, issues with gas, reactions to many foods among other issues. I have been religiously taking a BIO X4 capsule before every meal and all of my digestive issues have disappeared. I will continue to use it for the sole purpose that I have been able to eat without it resulting in pain and discomfort.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
