They are ok. I was wearing my glasses a lot from pregnancy changes with my eyes but still wanted something when it was sunny since I don't have prescription sunglasses. They are a cheaper option for occasional use. And I like that they just come to my door when I need them type of thing. I just find they dry out so quickly and I can always feel them. I can definitely tell when I've worn them longer than 8 hours or so.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
