My mother bought me this set for my birthday, as I had been wanting it after watching the infomercial. Well, one week after buying them, I made mashed potatoes in the large pot and used electric beaters like the infomercial. It scratched the surface terribly, rendering pot useless. I was NOT impressed, and now I am giving them away or throwing out. I am going to buy a different brand. I am so mad at how useless these are.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
