I recently renewed my FixMeStick, but prior to renewing, I asked if I could use my current stick on my Mac. They assured me that they could convert my current stick to Mac. I renewed my stick and proceeded to use it on my PC first and then tried to use it on my Mac.
After several attempts without success, I got ahold of their support and was informed that this particular stick would only work with a PC. This was because I had used it on a PC first and now it wasn't able to be converted. So in order to use a FixMeStick on my Mac, I would have to purchase another stick.
Had I known this in the first place, I wouldn't have bothered to renew.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
