Noom has been a wonderful surprise! I kept seeing their ads and dismissing them, and I thought, what can I lose, with TWO free weeks!
I am in the midst of my sixth week and I am absolutely delighted with their fundamental philosophy: eating should become a choice, not a habit. I have followed their input and have consistently weighed myself, entered my meals and am trying to see the way I behave with food and all that affects the way I approach it.
The results? I have lost twelve pounds already! It has not been difficult at all, because, I think I am learning rather than feeling that I am disciplining myself. The attitude is POSITIVE rather than negative. It is not about what I CAN'T DO but rather, what I CAN DO!
My Coach, Kristi, has been superb - friendly, helpful, affirming and challenging, all with grace, intelligence, and kindness.
Bottom line? I could not be more delighted!
The only portion that I do not choose is the Group Sharing. That concept feels too much like Facebook for fatties. Great if you want that, but even greater that I am not obligated to participate in the group experience.
