Vital Reds

This product is very healthy, but I can't take it for health reasons. It affects my blood level since I'm on a blood thinner. So I sent an email to Dr. Gundry, and their response was for me to pack up the remaining product and send it back to them with a tracking number!

Now, either I can't read, or doesn't their return policy say that there is a 90-days, 100% money back guarantee? Also, you have to use the product for 30 days before inquiring about a refund. So if they send you a 30-day supply, what is supposed to be left to send back?

I purchased six jars of Vital Reds and took it daily as instructed for two months. None of the benefits claimed in the advertising were experienced.

I will say that Vital Reds is delicious! Beyond being tasty, the claims of energy, vitality, and alertness are grossly misrepresented, in my experience with Vital Reds.

After 60 days, I returned the two empty jars and the remaining four unopened jars. My money, less shipping and handling, was promptly returned.

Shame on me for purchasing this product when it did not say it was gluten free.

I was excited to try something that made so many marvelous claims. I did not take it every day for the first three months. In fact, by the time I got my second shipment, I still had two jars unopened. When I got my second shipment, though, I committed to taking it every day. As soon as I had taken it for four days, I was having digestive problems and a persistent rash on my face and lip.

I called to make sure it was gluten free and was told it was not. I was told that someone would call me the next day to begin processing my refund. I did receive an email canceling my reoccurring order, but I did not receive a call. I sent two emails asking how to return the five unopened containers and still received no return message.

At this point, I tell myself (buyer beware) I should have known better. If it is too good to be believed, don't believe it!

I saw the video on the Farmers Almanac website, and I noticed the lengthy tease-formatted sales pitch. I instantly felt the red flags alert but listened due to Gundry's credentials. It sounded reasonable with quite a few written testimonials (not that testimonials prove anything), so I thought maybe I'll try one jar.

I reluctantly put my credit card information in and hit "submit order." A pop-up offer with additional jars pops up like the first page, and I select "no thanks." Then another offer for additional jars pops up, and again I say "no thanks."

Then a third pop-up for additional orders appears. This time I'm thinking, "hmmm; tease-formatted sales pitch STRIKE one, pop-up offer repeating after first-page STRIKE two, I say no thanks and again a pop-up offer for additional jars STRIKE three, and batter you're OUT!"

I decide NOT to click "submit," but instead clicked "back page" on my screen three times, remove my name and credit card information and GUESS WHAT? Yep, you got it; I'm billed anyway.

If this product is so good, why bother with the tacky late-night infomercial tactics? Why not just sell the product? My experience has been when more money is placed on the marketing than the manufacturing of a product, buyer beware!

I purchased six jars; I thought I'd do something good for myself. It was very expensive as there is a high exchange to Canada, as well as over $50 of duty.

It tastes good, and I started to experience digestive issues right away. With 100% daily requirements of many vitamins in the product, could it be that I was getting too much?

About a week in, I experienced extreme diarrhea and vomiting. I have never had problems like this before. I will be returning all of the remaining product.

The flavor is somewhat OK, but the powder doesn't dissolve well in water no matter how much I shake the water bottle. The particles leave a gritty residue at the bottom, which is like trying to swallow sand. No matter what health benefits this product may actually have, in my opinion, one of the first requirements for a powdered supplement is that is actually DISSOLVE in water.

This company is a total rip-off, and I would not buy anything from them. After sending back all their worthless products for a refund and telling them to stop, they still sent me another one and did not refund me for all the products that were sent back. Their customer service just talks over you and are not smart enough to figure out how badly they screwed up. AVOID this company!

This guy is a complete rip-off. I tried the prebiotic and it made me gag, so I had to pay to send it back. A week later I was charged $132.93 twice on my Chase account. I used PayPal, which I am getting rid of, and then they sent me three orders which I never ordered. All that the product is is a can of flax seed and agave powder, which you can probably purchase for 1/6 of what they charge.

All this company did was waste my time and energy and cost me money.

I canceled the item before it was sent out for delivery. I am not sure what happened, but I was charged $121.00, $83.00 and $119.00 but did not receive any merchandise. I checked with the Post Office and there was nothing because I had canceled the order, but was still charged. This is a rip-off and I want my money back.

My husband bought Vital Reds, and we started taking it every day. Within a few weeks, I was having heart palpitations and not sleeping at night. I would not recommend this quack's expensive supplement that can have an adverse effect.

I took Vital Reds for three weeks and noticed a remarkable difference in my energy level. After three weeks I lost my appetite completely and starting experiencing gagging and urgency.

One morning at 3 am, I had unbelievable abdominal pain and was passing black (old) blood. I called 911. I had an emergency endoscopy to cauterize seven bleeding ulcers. I failed to mention that I have a history of ulcers but have not had any problems for over a year. I have shown this product to a doctor and two nurses, and they all have said there is nothing in it that would cause any harm, except that it may be somewhat acidic. I don't know what to think!
