False and misleading. They're crooks.

By Norward Willis, Oregon, Verified Reviewer

In just one instance I ordered a 10.2-inch tablet the tablet was advertised at $4.25. I pushed by and was led to a page that says size. On that page, I was given a list of items, none of which were ever shown. At the very top of that list, there was a was a touch screen pin used in place of your finger when using the screen; it was not the tablet that was selling for $4.25 but rather the pin. The tablet sold for $86, and all there was were tablets that were scratched out, colors put on the ones that were scratched out, and there was no price given, only the $86 tablet.

When I went to customer support, instead of getting their customer support, I got the customer support of the business that was selling it, or should I say advertising it on Wish. He told me that if I would look closely, I would have seen that it was the pain, not the tablet that was $4.25. I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever buy anything from that site again, and I intend to tell as many people as I know about this and hope that they will do the same.

My "trial" experience

By Lee, Knoxville, TN, Verified Reviewer

I ordered two “smart watches” advertised for iPhone and Android. The total cost, with shipping, was only $25. I used PayPal because I did not trust the site.

The packages arrived in the time that was specified when I ordered. However, in the instructions, it was clearly stated that iPhone was not supported. I did connect it to an old Android device that I had around the house, and it synced and seemed to function well.

The watch will chime when you received notifications but to read the notifications you have to cycle through their menu. To do so seemed like a hassle to me but perhaps with regular use, the user may get used to it. You do not have the option of replying to messages; it simply notifies you that you have them.

Beyond simply seeing if the watches would function, I did not wear or utilize the watch. I have submitted a return, but Wish does not pay for the return shipping, it must be paid by the consumer. I have not as of this posting received reimbursement. Once the return is received, this experience will have cost me approximately $18 (I do not believe they will reimburse the initial shipping cost either). If it wasn’t for the fact of wanting to experience the return process through Wish, I would have given the watches away. After all, $25 - $18 = $7 for two watches.

I have attempted to go on the Wish site and post a review of the product so that others would know that they, in fact, do not work with iPhone, but it is not as easy as other sites, and I have not bothered with the time to figure it out. I did research the cost of the same watches on other sites that I order items through (and trust, and have had excellent experience with), and the difference for both watches would have been an additional $2.

In summary, I feel I gave Wish a fair trial but will remain loyal to other sites that have treated me well.

Tablet doesn't work, and I got something I didn't order

By Jose Refugio Morales, Palmdale, CA, Verified Reviewer

I did receive my tablet in a fair amount of time, the problem is the tablet is of poor quality. I downloaded my usual apps like YouTube and my religious stuff, and the next day it was all gone. I had to reinstall it. Now when I turn on the tablet, it has a hard time opening and staying on. The battery only lasts for about 2 hours, and I can't open any of the stuff; it just keeps trying to open but does not. I want my $65 plus back.

Also, a day or two later I get an item I didn't order; what's that about? I would not recommend them to anyone unless they right the wrong they have done.

Don't do it!

By Ricki Brown, Seattle, WA, Verified Reviewer

Not even close to what I ordered. It did come earlier than quoted but not even close, and I can't use an ugly black coin purse that says in gold on the side "Forever Friend, Your Choice." What the heck? Don't order, pass on by, just say no.

Unhappy

By Debbie Dougherty Viles, Verified Reviewer

I have ordered a shirt, and I ordered it very large thinking it might fit because I knew they ran small. It is very small, the buttons are in the wrong place, and it is nothing like the shirt in the picture. I am very disappointed.

My order

By Yvonne E Whatley, North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

I ordered a sweat suit from Wish two months ago, and my purchase was not delivered the day that I was quoted. The update I pulled up stated that it would be a week late (of course I was not happy, but what could I do). After a week, still NO merchandise.

I then reached out to Wish, who took forever to respond! Once they did, I was told they have no info on my item, followed by an apology. Next, they offered a refund (that takes two weeks). I told them my bank info has changed (I misplaced my card) and they told me they cannot change my info due to their policy! So I guess I won't receive that either.

All I can say is, NEVER AGAIN! PLEASE don't be fooled by the prices like I was. Be smart and steer clear; you get what you pay for I guess. The worst online shopping experience I've ever had.

It's a scam

By Julius Karanja, Pennsylvania, Verified Reviewer

I bought a polo shirt and I got a fake with a different logo. I also bought an electronic meter and I only received cables without the meter. I also bought an Android wristwatch, but to my surprise, I got a wrist bud without the watch. Please, please don't be the next victim and keep off this website.

Not dependable

By Terry, Kansas City, MO, Verified Reviewer

I have purchased items from Wish. Some were good quality, just what I was expecting, while others were lower quality products. And others were just not delivered at all. Anyone who shops with Wish should order knowing that 1) you may not receive your order, 2) what you ordered may not be the same as what is advertised, and 3) getting a refund will be very difficult.

It's pretty good

By Sakeenah Abdullah, Union City, CA, Verified Reviewer

Wish obviously isn't the best website to buy things from, but it's not too bad. Yes, it takes them FOREVER to deliver your stuff, but other than that, it's fine. You can't really expect great quality from Wish with the price you pay. Everything I've bought I loved the outcome, except for the one time I bought a phone case and it was scratched.

Watch out!

By Patty Rose, Knoxville, TN, Verified Reviewer

I call and I'm on hold. Then the call drops. What the heck!

BEWARE of cheap, inferior products! And no chance of a refund. Please, I beg you. Resist the urge to make an order. Don't buy it!
