I wish Zoosk would leave me the alone before I take legal action against them.

By George W., Bronx, NY, Verified Reviewer

For over two weeks I have been asking those idiots at Zoosk to leave me alone, they have not honored my request. When I hit "unsubscribe" they come up with some BS! I just want those motorcycles to leave me the heck alone!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Total scam

By Jeff C., Belleview, FL, Verified Reviewer

Free membership, getting around 40 views per day, many messages. Signed up for a paid account last week, now getting 1 or 2 views per day. Sent over 15 well-written, polite messages to local users, got no responses. Notifying State Attorney Office in Florida and New York Attorney General Office to look into business practices of Zoosk.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bad administrator, blocked for no reason

By Michael L., Arvada, CO, Verified Reviewer

Zoosk is a horrible site. First of all, the website misgendered my preference. It was impossible to change so I decided to start over and build a new account. Unfortunately, they blocked my new account for no reason. Number 1 dating site. They must have paid for this title. I do not recommend them to anyone and will going to try eharmony of which I've heard great things about and am excited to explore.

Duplicate profiles

By William E., Odenton, MD, Verified Reviewer

I was on Zoosk for a year or so. I started seeing the same faces on multiple profiles. I found 6 in my area alone (Annapolis, MD). I wrote Zoosk about it and they replied saying that some users do that. That's crap. Zoosk is doing it to falsely inflate their membership numbers. I wish I could give zero stars.

The site sucks

By Debbie M., Ohio, Verified Reviewer

No help to resolve issues. Could not get chat or answers to emails. Contacted customer support with no help. Went through help questions with no help. A big waste of money. I was dissapointed after 10 minutes when nothing worked. Tried to cancel, they wouldn't. Only not taking out the next payment.

Zoosk promotes identity fraud

By Caitlin M., Frederick, MD, Verified Reviewer

Zoosk confirmed that someone created a false account in my name. They listed the account as verified, meaning that either the criminal also hacked my Facebook or email or that they falsely listed the account as verified. The hacker also made purchases with their own credit card to promote this fake account. I immediately took the profile down and contacted their fraud department. When I asked several times for the name on the credit card that was used for these purchases, I was informed that the privacy policy protects the criminal from releasing their name AND that they refunded the criminal. The exact wording is below:

"Dear Caitlin,

Thank you for your message.

As per our Privacy Policy, we cannot provide you with any personal information regarding the credit card used. However, the card wasn't yours and the rightful owner was refunded.

Best regards,

(rep's name removed for privacy)
