I ordered two tunics and children's boots. I was charged shipping because I canceled the second tunic. So I spent more on shipping than the items cost. I wasn't informed I could be charged shipping when I canceled. I also wasn't informed the tunics come from China and they go through customs, and it takes forever to get them. Shipping status is a joke. No details. Customer service tries to answer questions, but I think they really don't know what's going on. Pitiful company.

Warning: do not get sucked in and watch your credit card carefully for overcharges.

This company is a scam. Do NOT buy anything from them! The merchandise is so cheap and you will not be able to return. They send emails saying they will send you a return label, but they never send it! They are a scam!! Do NOT buy from them!

I bought a Bumbo magenta changing pad for an amazingly good deal. Usually, it's at least $70, but I got it for a little over $46 with shipping. I placed the order on a Sunday and received it on a Tuesday. Excellent shipping speed with tracking details. However, the Bumbo came unboxed (inside of the shipping box). The original box that it was in was flattened, and the changing pad was just sitting on top of it. It appeared to be an item that was returned by someone else but was not put in its original packaging. It was pretty unacceptable.

I don't know if the changing pad had already been used, but it looked clean, so I'll be keeping it. Based on other Zulily reviews, I am afraid if I return it, I'll never see my money again. I guess that's what we'll have to settle with for getting this product at such a low price.

I made my first purchase from Zulily last week, and just found out someone applied for a Zulily Credit Card using all my personal information (it occurred the same day I made my purchase). They used the information I never provided to begin with, such as my Social Security number!

When I spoke with their "Fraud Department" they rejected the application, but did nothing to investigate how this could have happened.

They actually asked me to verify my FULL SS# over the phone so they could "look up the application." That seemed super sketchy to me. After refusing to give that info, the CSR easily found the application by simply using my name. I was told the person used ALL of my personal/confidential info, which is terrifying, as I never provided most of the info they used to apply.

Now I have to make sure this did not affect my credit score, and monitor my credit report to make sure no other credit cards were applied for. I had to call several credit bureaus and notify them of the situation, and have everything frozen. Absolutely ridiculous, and a HUGE waste of time.

All this hassle just for some clothes I ordered. I will never order from them again! Terrible security and customer service. I read other reviews and unhappy customers were given gift cards, discounts, etc. They were not even apologetic or concerned. It's unfortunate, because they have a lot of cool stuff, but I will not deal with them again. If I could give zero stars on this review, I would.

Just thought I'd warn everyone. Nobody should have to worry about confidential information being stolen and used - especially information that was never provided in the first place...super shady!

UPDATE: They take forever to get items shipped, even when they have them in stock. You can't rely on their shipping updates at all. If you have a question about an order, don't expect a reply. Be careful, and don't waste your time, as I unfortunately have.

When I looked at the Naturalizer Cassini boots sold at other venders they were all leather uppers. How can there be different materials for the same model of boot "Naturalizer Cassini Boots" sold by Zulily?

Does Zulily offer lower prices because they offer a lower quality product under the same brand name? Also, it is indicated that it "ships in 1-2 days", however, I ordered on December 5th and didn't receive them until December 19th. When I returned them they would only credit my account, no cash back, and it was only for the product, not the shipping charge.

I am not happy with the product or their shipping. I'm not saying they did anything illegal, but I feel they have misleading practices. Buyer beware.

I ordered 15 items from them in November of 2016 for my wife, for Christmas. All the items showed guaranteed Christmas delivery, and all but one arrived by the week before Christmas. The last one arrived January 3rd.

When I called Customer Service about the Christmas delivery guarantee, I got through in two rings to a young man who was very helpful and courteous. He offered to refund the money, and I asked him instead to just give me a credit for future orders.

I could not be happier with the shopping experience at this online retailer. They are all made in Hong Kong and shipped from there, which is why I ordered early. I have seen some negative reviews about this place, but my experience was terrific.

I was very surprised at these reviews. I have shopped with this company for some time and have never received a bad product, and the payment methods can be helpful. I duplicated an order by mistake, and their customer service refunded the second order promptly and provided me with a shipping label to return.

I do pay close attention to ship dates (perhaps I'm wrong, but the date does not reflect when you will receive the product but when the product will be shipped). Also, I add more time for "snail mail" because there is a significant amount of time between when you placed an order, and when you received it, so I tend to stay away from those.

Each article was the cheapest quality material and looked nothing like on the website. I go to return, and it is a store credit. I don't want their cheap clothes (then Kmart), and I'd be embarrassed to own this store.

I too am shocked by the low reviews for this site. I have spent thousands with this company and have nothing but wonderful things to say.

The prices are fantastic on high-quality items. They have hard to find, unique products. People swoon over stuff I wear from this site and I always highly recommend them to any and everyone. Tunics, jeans, clothes for my son throughout their entire childhoods. Nike, Disney, Skechers, Osh Gosh, Adidas, Ugg Boots, name brand perfume, cosmetics, sterling silver jewelry, bedding, craft and school supplies including yearly pack backs and coats, Christmas presents for the entire family, pots and pans, intimates, etc., etc.

There were a couple of times, like once I was unhappy with the short sets for my boys, I emailed them and immediately within a few hours I got a reply with apologies, a full refund was already on my card, and they didn't even want the clothes sent back! I could have been lying about my complaint.

And another time a few of my items from my order were on back order with unknown ETA, so they emailed me with a refund already applied to my card along with a $20 credit voucher applied to my account for my trouble, and when they came in I still got the products! For free and then some! And I never even complained about the shipping time! They contacted me about it.

So I think some people either don't know how to shop for good buys online or they are just unhappy to begin with. And nothing makes them happy. I work with the public, and that seems to be the case with much of the population more often than not these days. Zulily rocks and sells high-quality goods at great prices.

Zulily has gone downhill badly from when I had some luck buying some decent pieces of clothing several years ago. The past couple of years the clothing I've ordered has been super cheaply made (and looks it), the sizes have been way off (not just a little, but a couple sizes off), the colors and patterns of pieces look completely different from the pictures online, and the shipping time is astronomically long (like not in time for the season-long). Basically, it's a place I can never consider purchasing from again.

Because of that, I have not purchased recently, but my sister, not knowing that, bought a gift certificate for me there for my birthday. I told her that, unfortunately, there was not a single item I would ever dare take a chance on ordering from them again, so she asked for her money back from Zulily. Zulily refused to honor her request, and they now have $100 from her that she might just as well of thrown in the garbage.

Beware of this company that has a no-refund policy and offers merchandise not close to resembling the pictures online.
